The Pleasant Hills Youth Group is a very active organization that welcomes all youth in grades 7 through 12. The Youth Group is actively involved in volunteer work and opportunites to grow in faith in fellowship together.

Laser Tag
11/19/11 at 1:00pm
We are going to laser tag this Saturday at 1:00pm.
We will meet at the church to collect permission slips and leave from there. We will be back by 3:00pm, or I can give rides home.
You can play 3 games for $20, or 1 for $7.
This Sunday:

We are meeting at 8:30am at the church and then pick up some friends on the way to McDonald's for Sunday School.
Work Camp Meeting

After the service, we will be holding our first Mission 2012 summer work camp meeting. This is important to check out if you are thinking about going, and we will be deciding on direction that we are heading and what kind of mission trip to plan.

The Sunday after Thanksgiving we will go to lunch after the service, then attend the matinee showing of "The Muppet Movie"
Show times are not posted yet, so we will update you that day on times.

December
Baked Potato Bar
12/3 1:00pm Potato Cleaning
I will need help cleaning and rolling potatoes in salt. Lots of fun.
Sunday 12/4 We will need help setting up tables at 8:30am, serving potatoes after the service, and cleaning up after. The church gives us money each year, and this is a way we can help pay them back, as well as encourage them to continue to support the youth. For example, we ate for free after the food bank with their donation, and $15 of your cost of the retreat will come from the church. Let's give them something back this year, and set an example for the other groups!
Help is needed for the Cantata.

The "Why Bad Things Happen" Retreat
January 20-22
We have the option of going for 3 full days this year, so you won't want to miss this. But don't wait until January to sign up. You MUST have a deposit of $50 by December 20th. See the attached flyer for more details. A final cost will be determined after we see how many register.
February
Lock-in For Hunger.
Yep, 2012 is the year to go hungry. Well sort of, more details to follow. We would like to collect pledges for this event to support our Mission Trip.
